Ontario Electrical Estimating Services
MeTiger provides electrical estimating and takeoff support for contractors and general contractors working across Ontario — from the Greater Toronto Area to Ottawa, Hamilton, London, Kitchener-Waterloo, and Windsor. We turn your tender drawings, specifications, and addenda into clean quantities, labour summaries, marked-up plans, and documented scope, all delivered remotely so a job’s location in the province never slows the bid.
Electrical estimating built for Ontario projects
Ontario electrical work is inspected by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), and installations follow the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) — the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1, adopted with Ontario amendments. We estimate to what the tender documents call for and keep that provincial context in view while we count.
Projects across the province also touch different local distribution utilities, and service, metering, and utility-coordination notes can differ between them. We account for the servicing details shown on your drawings whether the work sits in Hydro One, Toronto Hydro, Alectra Utilities, Hydro Ottawa, or Elexicon Energy territory, and we flag where the documents leave the utility interface unclear so it can be resolved before bid day.

Ontario code & compliance
Our estimating and scope review are informed by the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) — the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA C22.1, adopted with Ontario amendments — alongside the project specifications, drawings, addenda, and local utility requirements. We estimate what the documents describe and note where they conflict or leave a gap, so nothing is priced on a silent assumption.
